[KIKE] Weinstein Co Cancels Tomorrow’s ‘Django Unchained’ Premiere In L.A.
By Mike Fleming Jr., Deadline, December 17, 2012
BREAKING: The [KIKE] Weinstein Company is the latest to curtail the festivities on a holiday season film because of the Connecticut massacre. An LA premiere had been scheduled tomorrow night for the Quentin Tarantino-directed Django Unchained. The film will still be shown, but there will be no red carpet and invited press is being asked to attend a different screening. This one is now reserved for cast members and their families who haven’t seen the film yet. This is not about the slave-era violence in the film; it reflects the fact that nobody is in the mood to celebrate. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the tragedy in Newtown, CT, and in this time of national mourning we have decided to forgo our scheduled event,” said a TWC spokesperson. “However, we will be holding a private screening for the cast and crew and their friends and families.”

COMMENTS
- Jamie Foxx went on [KIKE] Saturday Night Live and said,”In my new movie I kill all the white people, how great is that?” The audience laughed. That is really sick. You can’t say sh)t or show a womans nipple on TV but you can watch people machine gunning each other. How crazy is that ? Hollywood gets a free pass while the loons blame the gun.
- Any fan of his films is supporting the culture of violence spread by Hollywood.
- I guess from here on out we just have to arrange our personal life, pollitics and hobbies based on what the TV News Media say we should. You can’t just change the channel anymore, their all reading from the same script.
- Well, you actually CAN change the channel. I’ve been watching The [KIKE] Sundance Channel quiet a bit these last few days. I guess [KIKE] HBO and [KIKE] Showtime will be entertaining me as well for the next few weeks.
- “This is not about the slave era violence in the film, it reflects the fact that nobody is in the mood to celebrate.” -- Presumably, the Hollywood lowlifes are guessing ‘we’ will want to celebrate Christmas w/a racist, vengeful, throughly disgusting violent movie after all the children are buried? Count me out.
- “This is not about the slave era violence in the film, it reflects the fact that nobody is in the mood to celebrate.” -- Yeah, I caught that too….Not seeing it either.
- You said what I was going to say exactly.
- True! Ever so true!
- This movie seeks to profit from stirring up racial hatreds and is not even historically accurate. A movie about black people (victim class) shooting white people and opening on Christmas day is a disgusting and cynical joke on a country in dire need of healing both racially and otherwise. Celebrate this beautiful Christmas season with Love towards humanity and Goodwill to all. End Violence. End War.
- Amen.
- Hollywood is to blame for the culture of violence they portray on a regular basis. They are culpabale.
- Could they be feeling guilty for tearing apart our culture with their work and lifestyles? …. Nah … it’s Hollyweird.
- Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner .. except I’d quibble as to whether they feel guilty or not, but yes they are tearing apart our culture with their product. It’s not they don’t feel like celebrating rather they are worried about bad optics. Releasing this Blood Porn promoting gun violence on the holiest day of the year for Christians is cool, hip, edgy. Should we thank them there is still a line they will only reluctantly drag their a$$ across. P.S. Can someone tell me what the redeeming value of this movie is?
- Who cares anyway. After what Foxx said I wouldn’t spend a penny to see this crappy film. Nor will I EVER watch anything he is in. You lost a viewer forever Foxx.
- I totally agree. Foxx is a racist fool.
- First Eastwood, now Foxx. I’m still looking forward to the film though.
- Ole Harve [Kike Harvey Weinstein] and the cast is going to have trouble bitching about how we need more gun control laws after this is released Christmas day. Plus Foxx joked about killing lots of white people on [KIKE] SNL, and let’s not forget about that nasty “N” word which is uttered over 100 times.
- Huck Finn was banned because it said “slave” instead of “servant.” I will never see this filth. I will never see anything with Foxx in it. Racism is racism, no matter the color of your skin and no matter at whom your hatred is directed. I have this wish… Nay… a dream that people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the substance of their character. I wish racists like Foxx would share this dream.
- Go ahead and cancel the thing indefinitely. The movie looks gayer than a picnic basket.
- This will be a great movie for self hating whites who will most likely cheer at the end. What a wonderful movie to open on Christmas day just full of Christmas spirit. Dont waste your money this movie is pure trash.
- Hypocrite leftist Hollyhog type cancels? If the ‘film’ was a good idea to make, ride the horse cowboy! So now it’s a POS because your desired outcome happened at an inconvenient time?
- Interesting. So Hollywood which makes so many millions trivializing gun violence suddenly gets a conscience. If the industry had any honor, it would stop making disgustingly graphic films of the carnage. Wonder if our recent mass murderers were spurred to their actions by Hollywood? Don’t get me wrong, I am a gun respecting, owning American who would never dream of unsafe use of my firearms. I don’t even hunt, target only.
- Going to see [KIKE] Les Mis on Wednesday. Not cancelled.
- Me, too!!
- [KIKE] Les Mis is just about the mob rule that turned into a Reign of Terror. The French Revolution never made a poor person a franc richer. Romanticizing it is more liberal hogwash.
- [KIKE] Les Miserables is not about the French Revolution (1789-1799), it is set against the backdrop of the 1832 “June Rebellion”. Please, Kala, be sure of history before posting this kind of thing. Merci.
- So they’re gonna show it to the general public, they’re just not going to make a big deal about it. Under the radar, so to speak. And the reason for that is they’re implicitly agreeing that to make a big deal about it would be offensive, what with the violent shooting and all. Implicit in the implicit agreement, I suppose, would be the understanding that there’s some connection between this sort of violent artistic crap and the desire to act out violent artistic crap in the real world. So why, again, do we tolerate this sort of artistic crap?
- I applaud the [KIKE] Weinstein company for their thoughtfulness during this tough time. It continues to break my heart when I think of what those families are going through. My thoughts and prayers continue to surround the families and friends. I thank The Lord for my family everyday as well.
- Yep, thank [KIKE] Weinstein for all the glorified violence in his films and Hollywood’s too. That didn’t have anything to do with the tragedy in Conn did it? No, it was just art.
- I think crazy is crazy and movie/video game violence had little, if anything, to do with this particular tragedy. But if I had to pick a bogeyman, I’d pick the media for over-sensationalizing such events.
- It is amazing that anyone would watch this film. Jamie Foxx has come out as a racist and bigot. Tarantino’s film gratify violence in the most dispicable ways. It’s time for people in the wake of the shooting in the Conneticut School to say “enough is enough” shame on anyone paying money to see this movie!
- AMEN…… My sentiments as well. We all knew this movie which is extremely violent was coming. I hope it goes down the toilet quickly where it belongs.
- Christ who are all you fruits blaming art for what a wackjob has tragically done. This movie will be fantastic and will be nominated for a bunch of awards. You don’t like it then dont go see it, but you cant blame art for violence. Do they even have pop culture type movies in the uber violent areas of the world, i.e Africa, middle east? For the most part Id say no.
- You should learn to take things in the entertainment industry less seriously. You’d be a much happier person.
- The gun Violence in this Tarantino movie as well many other by liberal Hollywood is more to blame for the desensitization toward murder and violence than the NRA ever will be. Oh the hypocrisy of the left. And they blame everyone else. This trash should never be shown in theaters
- Oh no premiere, but not to worry. We’re gonna still feed the WHITE hating fans out their. This film is so unnecessary.
- Tarrantino can’t do anything uplifting, socially, or even remotely morally gratifying. His films are always upsetting and degrading to humanity. But he makes Hollyweird money. So on with filth and degradation.
- People love going to see Tarantino’s flix…They’re the socially acceptable way to let the N-bombs fly [i.e., speak and hear "Nigger Nigger Nigger"].
- Yes, the crap this guy makes is for one purpose only $$$$$$$$ and more $$$$$$$$
- Will anyone notice?
- Too bad the movie wasn’t shelved permanently. More Tarantino garbage, hope every soul who sees this film has nightmares.
- Wake up, and look in the mirror, senseless violence. It’s all a bigh laughing matter, until it’s your neighbor. One day maybe Mr. Tarantino will get the ‘Karma’ he has coming to him…..
- was going to boycott the film anyway, PLUS anything that EVER has the name Jamie FOXX…will never patronize.
- It should be cancelled period. Too much violence.
- Paraphrasing: “Not about violence in the film but not the time to celebrate” Ha, give me a break. I am sure that the [KIKE] Weinsteins and the Tarantinos of this world have heard the talk across the airwaves, namely that violence in movies, TV, video games and such should be looked at and possibly even be curtailed. So they’ll lay low for a while I guess. Maybe the [KIKE] ACLU may come out with tail between legs too.
- In this movie Foxx claims he kills all the white people…similar to what Lanza did last week. I believe our culture is part of the problem…and the [KIKE] Weinsteins profit handsomely from the glorification and promotion of violence.
- My understanding is all white folk are murdered in this movie regardless of their pro- or anti-slavery views. And P.S., while both are totally evil, killing slave owners is worse evil than slavery. Murder is never justified.
- Too many movies are violent, crude, and generally disgusting. Hollywood makes these movies for teens and young men. These bad examples encourage young males to act in many inappropriate ways. Hollywood needs to look in the mirror when horrible things take place, and ask themselves “Did my work contribute to this event?”
- I wish violent movies such as this would be a thing of the past. How long will it be before its back to biz as usual? My guess is not long. We’re losing our soul as a nation. People are horrified over a parent that smokes, no I don’t smoke, but making huge profits from vile “entertainment” is perfectly acceptable. How sad and sick. I remember the ad with the Native American with a tear on his face looking out at the litter. How many tears will it take for Hollywood to wise up and get some values? Of course, youth copy what they see. If they didn’t there wouldn’t be any ads for children on TV. People need to look in the mirror.
- Can one company muscle up and say, “We thought it was the wrong moment to make a display of violent pop entertainment”?
- Wow, a lot of pussyass humorless commenters on this website. You guys have no taste at all. Violence or no, you have to admire the poetry in Tarantino’s films. Since you guys apparently can’t do that, you must be pretty damn close minded. Or even if that’s not the case, you’re definitely a bunch of little b
- A worthless and vile little movie!
- Do none of you see the hypocrisy in your statements? None of you have seen the film, so you have no idea what it is about, and yet your comments of hatred toward the actors and others involved only spread more of just that; hatred. While the depiction of violence can be damaging when not discussed thoroughly in regards to the cause behind the effect, wishing to create silence instead of conversation will only lead to more violence. Before you criticize the film and the filmmakers, take a second to realize that Tarantino never glorifies violence, he demonstrates the brutality of our history, and the necessity for discussing ways in which we, as an advanced society, can curtail these ills as the act of many in response to the misguided acts of the few. Please truly consider what you write, as even words in these times can cut deeper than you may know.
- Tarantino never glorifies violence? Have you seen Pulp Fiction? Plenty of glorification there. Basically, who wants to stir up crap about the slave era? We’ve got a black president now so knock off the Hollywood b.s. No thanks. Not watching it.
- Tarantino never glorifies violence??? That’s ALL he does. His entire career. Didn’t you see KILL BILL or any of his other movies? His formula is always the same: have glamorous stars gun down and otherwise torture and murder countless people, and do it in a funny, “ironic” way, so the audience learns to enjoy and laugh at blood-soaked scenes of sadism, torture, and gun violence. Yes, he picks “bad guys” no one likes — Nazis or criminals or slave owners — but that’s just a pretext for staging scene after scene of revolting violence that would have been unthinkable in the much more civilized America of fifty years ago. And his heroes always rack up a huge body count. It’s incredibly disingenuous to pretend this dreck has no affect on the more and more frequent massacres of innocent people we’ve seen in the USA.
- Slave era violence? Boring. But [KIKE] Weinstein sure likes to stir things up with his n-word ["nigger"-] laden movie. I think I’ll save my money for something else.
- How considerate. Let’s postpone gratuitous sex and violence with continuous cursing until NEXT WEEK.
- I guess if they didn’t make a movie about a black guy killing all of the white people there would be no need to cancel the money making. Celebrating killing, the killing of white people, by a black man or a lunatic just doesn’t say “Merry Christmas in the old fashioned way”, like it used to. Hey, Happy Chanukah, Mr. [KIKE] Weinstein, from the regular “folks”.
- Oh come on people, give me a break. Go watch Bonnie and Clyde or The Wild Bunch. Violence has always been in movies. To say that movies influence people to do terrible things like that is just ridiculous. If that were the case, then we would have been seeing school shootings since the 1960s. Any student of film will admit there is a whole magnitude of increase in film and tv violence from earlier period films.
- While it is nice to see that Hollywood does have somewhat of a conscience, Hollywood needs to also show some brains and move the release to summer of 2013. I mean, releasing this movie on Christmas day and especially after what happened in Connecticut?? I guess this tragedy of last week really puts things into perspective, not to mention making Jamie Foxx look like a bigger ass than he already is (see – Saturday December 8th opening monologue of [KIKE] Saturday Night Live).
- Boycott this hateful, violent movie. Tarantino’s movies have no social redeeming value. Pure trash…
- Tarentino had great cinematic talent, but he’s squandered it making these cartoonish blood and gore pictures. Perhaps he’s just not capable of making a movie about actual human beings.
- Who cares anyway. After what Jamie Foxx said I wouldn’t spend a penny to see this crappy film. Nor will I EVER watch anything he is in. You have lost a viewer forever Mr. Foxx.
- TWC should delay the wide release of Django (open in limited release on Christmas and platform in Jan.) in favor of opening wide Silver Linings [i.e., Kike David O. Russell's Silver Linings Playbook] on the Holiday which is perfect for the season!
- With the highly racist line, “I get to kill white people and get paid for it…what’s not to like?” I wouldn’t waste a penny on this piece of crap nor on any movie that Jamie Foxx is in. Hollywood is the epitome of hypocracy as they glorify gun violence and then scream for gun control.
- The hypocrisy of Hollywood just gets better and better. It’s only outmatched by the sheeplike stupidity of those who consume their tripe.
- This is pathetic! Too much violence blah blah blah. Maybe shut the hell up and teach your child right and wrong instead of turning the TV on for them. Why the hell are you letting your kids play violent games and watch violent movies? They are meant for adults. I will be watching this movie because my parents actually taught me right and wrong and i can tell the difference between movies and reality.
- How about just trash the racist, viral, movie. This is where young minds are warped, from these Hollywood pieces of garbage.
- HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA! Hollywood makes billions by trafficking in gun and violence porn but suddenly doesn’t want to be associated with the real thing for fear of appearing to be in poor taste. That’s fucking rich.
- No chance I’d go see this trash. Even if they gave me tickets. This movie will be a flop.
- Haters can hate. I am still going to go see the movie. You people boycotting the movie won’t matter in the end.
- Make that 2 lost Foxx ticket-buyers. I was a huge fan, but no more. Racism isn’t my thing.
- Am I on the Fox News comments section or something? Some white people are complaining about white slave owners being killed in a movie by a black former slave? The n word is said 100 times because your ancestors used it as an insult against mine. You can’t make a movie about the American slave trade without saying the N word a 100 times. You don’t have to like the history but it exists and black comedians like Foxx have the right to joke about it and so do white comedians for that matter. Comedians joke about painful things go figure. I’m glad that extreme bigots like the Faux News posters on here are the minority now. Go back to StormFront.
- Does this mean he feels some responsibility or is he just trying to hide in the shadows? Along with the cancellation of the movie premiere the movie goers should cancel all of Jamie Foxx’s future works.
- Good. I hope no one sees that racist piece of dog doo! All respect for Jamie Foxx he has dissolved FOREVER!!
- Pulp Fiction, Sin City, Django, Kill Bill and he thinking about Kill Bill 3; Tarantino sure loves blood and guts.
- Yawn. Tarantino’s films are mostly garbage. He is the most overrated director in Hollywood. I predict this movie will bomb.
- Someone would have to pry my eyes open like A Clockwork Orange before I would ever watch another Jamie Foxx film or give him one more dime. Jamie Foxx disgusted me at his rant on Miley Cyrus, offended me when he called obamma “lord &savior”, then disgusted, offended and angered me more, with the [KIKE] snl comments. Hope I didnt bore you. Narcissist much?
- Absolutely will not go to see this movie.
- You haven’t seen this film and you call it racist? From the early reviews its quite the opposite! It’d be like calling [KIKE] Schindler’s List anti semitic!
- Django Unchained is no [KIKE] Schindler’s List.
- Jamie Foxx glorified killing white people on [KIKE] SNL, this movie is garbage. We’ve cheapened life in this country and we’re paying a steep price, thank you hollyweird for your role in this mess.
- Suddenly Hollywood has a conscience?
- These comments are the worst. Afraid to see a movie in which the topic is about slavery? I don’t recall it being little “House on the Prairie”. Yes guns existed and were used regularly to help keep the institution of slavery intact. Or are you all uncomfortable with that reality? People said the same thing about Alex Hailey’s “Roots” in regards to the “N” word being used, yet it was an eye-opener and helped changed the way America viewed and discussed slavery. I have issues with the movie of an entirely different nature, but these comments…. Some people are uncomfortable with the reality of race relations.
- How can these Hollywood types talk about gun control when their films are where these killers get these ideas? Any actor who shot someone in a film is hardly an advocate of gun control.
- every year the weinstien bros attack Christ and Christmas. Oh the 2 think nobody is watching! Think again weinstiens
- You say the movie django unchained looks as gay as a picnic basket? How gay is that comment bro! really?Your opinion of this movie (which by the way you havn’t even seen the movie yet), is so unintelligent I shouldn’t even comment on it. Quentin is the only film maker out there who has taken the time to study great movies from the past and he’s using those brilliant films as an influence , and he’s raising the bar making those classic films even better then the original’s by putting certain cool aspects from those films mixed in with his interesting characters that he creates and his dialogue and his unique use of violence that makes his movies a true event. I thank god that we have a film maker like him! He’s a national treasure.
- These guys are just too much. They produce film after film filled with every sort of degradation, glorifying violence in all its permutations, and now they cry a few crocodile tears and pretend they’re sorry. Feh.
- Point of interest: Harvey W. [The Kike Weinstein] has a home in Westport, just two towns over from Newton. For those wondering why he’s reacting this way, there’s your answer.
- Millions of people will see a movie that justifies blacks killing whites. Apparently justification to kill white slave owners not black slave owners. That justification to kill white people will absolutely carry over to the current time period.
- Hollywood makes billions of violet crime films laced with white hatred then blames Conservatives for being gun toting racists
- Americans are in serious denial about how insanely violent our popular culture has become. In 1960, PSYCHO was considered disgustingly violent. Some years later, SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, full of sick, revolting violence that makes PSYCHO looks like THE SOUND OF MUSIC, was a massive hit and loaded with Academy Awards. Now we have stuff so vicious, like the SAW series, it would have been unthinkable even 15 years ago. Gun violence, sadism, and torture are increasingly presented as sexy fun, escalating from year to year. Quentin Tarantino’s films make sociopathy hot and hip. They always feature glamorous stars like Uma Thurman or, in the new one, Jamie Foxx, becoming a killing machine, blowing away countless people with an assortment of big, gleaming guns. Glamorizing orgies of gun violence has made Tarantino rich, and the hippest director around. Then we have millions of kids playing sick video games where you get points for gunning down realistic human figures and enjoy watching them suffer and die. How could we possibly think this tsunami of glamorous, sexy sadism and violence wouldn’t affect unstable minds? We all have blood on our hands for allowing popular culture to teach our children that nothing is more entertaining and exciting than gunning down hundreds of your fellow humans.
- I will Never pay to watch another Foxx movie again. He lost me for good with his over the top racist comments of recent. I won’t even rent it from the Redbox when comes out on dvd. I’ll just keep my dollar and change.
- Strange I didn’t hear Bloomberg and the others calling for movie control.
- When will the media learn to show something educational without violence??? How about making a movie how to live a good life!
- typical Hollywood. Duck & run & blame whoever one can
- Dumbass movie to start with, as are the majority of movies coming out of Hollystupid!
- This movie has elements that can incite actual violence: racial hatred and sterotyping, portrays violent gun use as heroic, justifies emotional revenge with broad historical inaccuracy. It promotes bigotry in the guise of artistic license. Selling anger sells violence, but it makes money and good press. Such films are irresponsible and fundamentally propaganda. These films should be ignored and cash starved until they wither and receed. People of all colors are smart and clearly see the hateful message of Foxx and friends.
- Are all of these people complaining about Foxx’s joke on [KIKE] SNL going to condemn Mike Huckabee for saying in a completely non joking manner that God allowed 20 children and a half dozen adults to be killed because the school isn’t allowed to force his religion on children of other faiths? Where is your outrage regarding that comment? I’m sure your silence on that issue has nothing to do with the fact that Huckabee is white. Face it you didn’t like Foxx’s joke about his film because you are A-Okay with slavery. You are the type of ignorant people who don’t believe that racism exists or ever has. You are living in a land of make believe and Django Unchained annoys you so much because it is shattering the fantasy that racism and slavery never exist.
- If the racists are unhappy about the movie QT must be doing something right
- after was foxx said about white people…i do not know what any sane white person would spend one cent on this movie.
- When does the made for tv movie come out?
- How does Tarrentino do it? He makes ’90′s Show’ doper ‘decadence’ even STALER than [KIKE] Oliver Stone’s ’80′s Show’ doper ‘decadence’! Amazing!
- I find it ironic that Hollywood liberals lead the charge for gun control while making millions (billions?) of dollars off of hyper-violent, hate-filled movies that promote gun violence, drug use, racial insensitivity… many of the biggest problems America still faces. You make it look cool to shoot each other with bravado-rich one-liners and give voice to the figures in the even-more-violent video games which allow our kids to practice shooting one another until they get the real thing. Is it any wonder our society is so isolated and desensitized? Is it any wonder the walls around your mansions are so high?
- Why’d he cancel if there’s no relationship tweenst violence in movies and violent nutcakes? And don’t hand me any crap about him being sensitive. Look at his flicks.
- Wow, the comments here are hilarious. Hollywood is to blame because it makes nothing but violent crap all the time. Jamie Foxx is a racist. I guess joking about slavery (and what I’ll politely call ‘reparations’ isn’t cool to some people, the same people who didn’t get any of the jokes in [KIKE] ‘Blazing Saddles’ i guess. I wonder how many people who bash the film industry and Tarantino for their violence are okay with non-stop war, or military action at the drop of the hat. Artistic endeavors that depict violence should be the least of your worries, especially those of you that espouse ‘personal responsibility’ and think that boycotting this film is somehow a noble act.
- Hollywood manufactures rage.
- Whatever…what Jamie Foxx said on [KIKE] SNL was that he “got to kill all the white people–how GREAT is that?” My husband and I were big fans right up to that moment (used to live near his home town). Now he gets no more of our money, period.
- Why do liberals and Hollywood want to drag us to the bad old days? We judge people by the content of their character, and Mr. Foxx’s is sorely lacking. Hatred and racism are EVIL in any color.
- Fox is a poor salesman for his film of slander and language ebonics. I was going to skip it anyway.
